Distances are recognised from 1200km upwards in 100km increments; Audax UK gives 1 distance point per nominal 100km increment.

Overall finish times are based on the routes given distance rather than nominal.

Maximum overall speed is usually 30kph but may be lowered by the organiser depending on terrain and/or length of event.

Distance: Minimum Overall Speed

  • 1200-1299km: 13.3kph
  • 1300-1899km: 12kph
  • 1900-2499km: 10kph
  • 2500km+: 8.3kph

Additional time is allowed at LRM’s discretion for events with climb ratios above a set threshold using a specific mapping platform.
