Another ACB blast

15th June 2026

Typical ACB , great route and organisation…great company too. Only complaint was the sheer volume of potholes, in fact I think you call it a pothole festival or a convention. Some of them were older than some of the rocks we passed in Avebury or Stonehenge.

My first 200k

15th June 2026

What a great event! If you’re thinking of making the step up to a 200k, or a seasoned hand I would recommend this route to you. Some amazing views, plenty of pleasant lanes, great control/eating stops and a good tour of Britains neolithic past!

Go ride it!

Wow, what a day and what an eclectically diverse bunch.

4th June 2026

What an utter privilege to have had this event made available to us, put on to give us something to do, and to have been able to turn out on the day. An extraordinarily creditable testimony to all parties: those who are no longer with us, those who press on in the face of grief soaked memories, those who support quietly in the wings and all the 140(ish) participants who can now spread the word of an outstanding event. Oh yes, not a bad effort with the weather Will; despite acknowledging that it is beyond your control.

Excellent route and great camaraderie. Lovely Cotswold village stops and countryside. Lucky with the weather too – a prefect day of cycling. πŸ™πŸš΄πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

A fantastic route, a great range of surfaces

1st June 2026

The Ride for Red 100km route is great. A good variety of surfaces and challenges on the route. Red was obviously a clever lad for designing this route. I loved it and all of the challenges he threw at us, not so much the climb at Hinton….. Thanks for a great ride Red and Will πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ’ͺπŸ‘

Great Event, Great Organisation

29th May 2026

My first 600, fantastic route out over mostly good roads. The route back was a little more challenging but the organisation, volunteers, camping etc were faultless.

What a cracker! PPP 2026

21st May 2026

The 2026 Pauline Porter Populaire 600 km was an absolutely fantastic event from start to finish. Three days of gorgeous scenery, challenging undulations, and a decent blast of Welsh weather made for a proper adventure.

The organisation was excellent throughout, the value for money was outstanding, and the team of volunteers were super helpful, welcoming and encouraging at every stage. Their support really added to the whole experience.

Genuinely one of the most enjoyable weekends I’ve ever had on a bike. A brilliant event, superbly run, and one I’d highly recommend. Thankyou Will and the rest of the team.

Grand houses

Greatly enjoyed this route, some lovely cycling in beautiful scenery. Had a lovely welcome at the first info point but the cobbles too much for me on Paris-Roubaix weekend.

An Excellent Second Audax

14th April 2026

This was my second Audax, following on from a 100k earlier in the year. Will and the other riders were very welcoming, beans on toast and coffee at the start was a bonus. The route was excellent and despite some wind, a hailstorm, and two flat tyres I really enjoyed it. Quite a lot of climbing but only one or two of the hills were really steep – the Gold Hill cobbles for example. Rice and daal at the end was very welcome. At the moment I think 150k is my limit. How other riders manage the huge distances I don’t know, but I am on the road to learning. Thanks for organising Will.
