As a Populaire distance it can be distinguished by:
– Brevet Populaire (BP) – an AUK classification where speeds are more relaxed and set by the organiser; the time allowance is based on the overall distance. As of the 2024 season AUK now counts distance points for BPs.
An interesting Randonnée distance. 500 is not recognised by Audax Club Parisien thus only available as a Brevet Randonneur (BR) – an AUK classification where speeds can be between 14.3 to 30kph; the time allowance is based on the overall distance. Do you sleep?
